DigiSec - Techies
This program is brought to you by Meedan, Sikka Saida, and Nadine Moawad, organizations and individuals who believe technology should serve justice, not just markets.
We're looking for young technologists, ages 16 to 35, who want to grow their technical skills through free and open source software (FOSS) and activism. Whether you're a developer, designer, sysadmin, or someone who's spent late nights debugging for a cause you believe in, this program is for people who see tech as a tool for change.
You don't need a polished portfolio or years of experience. You need curiosity, a willingness to learn, in public or in private if your work requires discretion, and some connection, however small, to open source, digital rights, or activist communities.
